Turmeric tonic, also known as “sunshine liquid” is an herbal remedy that is packed full of health benefits and nutrients your body craves for. It is loaded with anti-oxidants, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties.
As featured on Dr OZ, the 21-day turmeric tonic challenge resulted in mood improvement, increase in energy and loss in weight.
To make this tasty tonic, all you need are a few simple ingredients such as ginger, coconut water, honey, lemon and of course turmeric.
Turmeric Tonic Recipe
- Coconut water (2 cups)
- Turmeric powder (1 teaspoon)
- 1 whole lemon
- An inch of fresh ginger
- A pinch of sea salt
- Raw honey (1 tablespoon)
Blend together the turmeric, coconut water and ginger until it’s finely shredded.
Strain the liquid into a glass or jar.
Squeeze in the lemon juice and the salt and honey then mix well.
